Administrative district:

The district of Wesermarsch has over 94.000 inhabitants and covers 822 square kilometres. It is a future-oriented investment location on waters navigable by seagoing vessels in the area between the four major regional centres for Bremen, Bremerhaven, Oldenburg und Wilhelmshaven.

The administrative district or county lies between the North Sea, the Jadebusen bay of the North Sea and the river Weser. It embraces six municipalities and three city districts.
