The diverse merits of the Wesermarsch natural and cultural landscape represent a high quality of life and recreational recuperation that offers scope for further development. Under the slogan "Wesermarsch on the move", projects are being implemented with the participation of regional players, political decision-makers and local administrations and with the financial support of the EU funding programme Leader (2007-2013) that are developing the Wesermarsch in a sustainable manner as a region for living and vacations between the River Weser and the North Sea.
